Christmas

Well I get to spend Christmas at the fire station. We did our Christmas yesterday and the kids had a very good time. I was a little surprised in the morning I figured that it would be the kids waking me up but it was actually my wife. After we opened the gifts we had breakfast and the kids got to spend most of the day playing with all of their new toys. Afound 4 we left and went to Suzannes house and did christmas with Tiawnas family. We had a good dinner then it was time for the gifts, WOW, insane we did not get done until 930. needless to say I was very tired, the kids were tired, I spent the night before up most of the night putting together a basketball hoop together that we bought the kids so put the kids to bed then me to bed, I hope that today is a slow day and I get to relax.

Snow Day

Hockey

Well its hockey time again. We have our first hockey games of the season, and of course I have a cough that I cannot kick. feels like I am hacking up a lung. Worked yesterday, and we were not too busy my capt had FF1 practicals so he was gone from 9 am until 730 pm. We were lucky enough to get up three times last night so I think I will be taking a nap with Ben today.
Woke up to smow this morning of course because it was the one day that I could put up the christmas lights.

If it is not too cold tonight we are going to go out and find a real tree to put in our house this year. I cant wait for the smell of the tree to fill my house.

Electric Critters

Last night we went to the Pueblo Zoo for a birthday party. After the birthday party we got to take the kids around the zoo to look at all of the lights. The kids had a very good time, the weather was nice a little cold but nothing a little hot chocolate could not fix.

Thanksgiving was a good time, we went to Joy's for breakfast, we were able to stay there for a while and visit with everyone. The weather was awesome we got to go out and through the football for a while. It was very nice to visit with everyone. We left Joys and went straight to Tiawna's families get together. We got there around 2 and stayed until around 5 or 6. All together it was a nice relaxing day.

I have spent the last two or three days trying to kick a cold or something. I spent most of the day yesterday just relaxing, I almost did not go to work today, but I woke up feeling a little better today.

I am hoping to start working on the taping in the basement wed or thursday. Tiawna's uncle is going to help me do it, So it will be nice to get one step closer. I will lpost some more pics or thanksgiving and everything soon.

Basement

I am at work today, it has been a steady day, had a three hour hazmat class, then a few calls, then a few inspections, then a few more calls, and so on. Hoping for a quiet night I am going to try to finish hanging the drywall in the basement tomorrow. I only have the closet left to do. I am so close I can see it but just cant seem to find the time to do it. We shall see, I will post some pics if I can get it all done.

Spent the morning playing racquetball at the gym with a friend, after that I went home and got ready to go have lunch with Tiawna and Janelle. We went to Applebees which was completely packed. They were giving veterans and military free lunch. we had a 35 minute wait. But it was nice spending the time with them. After lunch I went home and spent the next 3 hours in the basement, I ran out of drywall so I had to stop and clean up. So 50 sheets and I am still not done. Ugh. I is definitely coming along but I want to be done already. While I was cleaning up the guys from our home builder showed up to fix our back sliding glass door that has been broke for three weeks now. Good thing it was not an emergency. It is very nice to have it fixed it has been an absolute pain getting the dogs in and out of the backyard. Well that is all for now I am beat going to go relax for the night.
